This course introduces young learners in Grades 2–4 to the world of block coding through fun, creative, and interactive activities. Students learn how to use drag-and-drop coding blocks to create animations, digital art, and simple games. Along the way, they explore important coding concepts such as loops, events, conditional logic, variables, arrays, and sprite animation.
The course focuses on building problem-solving skills as students design their own interactive projects and learn how to control characters, manage data, and bring their ideas to life. Each lesson includes hands-on tasks and practice sessions to strengthen understanding. By the end of the course, students gain confidence in coding and complete a final project that showcases everything they have learned.
